My friend's beloved service dog recently died. Blackbeard was a loyal dog, dedicated to the human he helped. Here is a poem in tribute to this valiant animal.
Consciousness you lost.
He went for help. Tires bark. Thud!
Lifeless pup. Hearts weep.
